ABOUT ME

MODUS OPERANDI: I was voted "Most Enthusiastic" in kindergarden and haven't slowed down since.

TRAVEL: I was bit by the travel bug at a very early age.  While my parents didn't plan extravagant trips, we did travel a lot as a family. Most of our trips were across the US, Canada, Mexico and various caribbean islands. My first trip outside North America was to Ireland and France on my high school senior year trip.  From that point on I knew I had to do everything I could to keep traveling. My soul was driven to find a job in the travel industry some day, so when the opportunity arose, it was a no brainer that I would take it.

Since then, I have visited over 40 countries, across 5 of the 7 continents (sorry South America and Antarctica).  While I prefer to plan trips to new destinations, there are some places I keep coming back to. The TRAVEL section of my site is designed to highlight some of my favorite trips and inspire those who are seeking travel inspiration.

CRAFTS: My best friend and I were reminiscing about our favorite activities at summer camp and it was no surprise to both of us that Arts & Crafts was hands down my favorite. It was indoors away from the cold lake they made us swim in at 8am, and didn't involve a large field with balls flying towards my head. I wasn't required to climb on a horse, or balance on a water ski, but instead was able to let my imagination fly and simply create.

To this day, I yearn for moments to create. Knitting and crochet are my main passions but you can often find me navigating a new origami pattern, sewing a halloween costume or baking an apple pie.

STORIES:  So many people have told me I should write, from my besties to my therapist.  So here I am, sharing all those thoughts and stories that are buzzing around in my head like a hamster on his running wheel.
